Some issues are due to faulty RAM, DRAM or system memory.
Note: RAM is REQUIRED in order for the device to work. If no RAM is present, or if it is faulty, the device will not boot and you will not see anything on the HDMI/DP or serial console output.
In order to verify memory, Remove the bottom plate of the unit and identify the components as per the instructions below.

- Verify memory is properly installed. There should be a noticeable “click” when the RAM is properly inserted into the socket.
- Verify the memory is DDR4.
- If there are still issues, run a cycle of Memtest. Instructions can be found at this link.
- If there are still issues, replace the RAM with known good RAM.
- If there are still issues, it is likely the RAM is not the issue. Try troubleshooting other components.
